Trying out another simple quilt pattern. This project shows how to make one bow square. These squares can then be put together to make a cute quilt, whatever, size you want.
Total Time: 10 minute square
Yield: 1
Link: Baby Bows Quilt
Supplies:
- coordinating fabric scraps
- pins
- scissors
- sewing machine
- thread
Steps:
- Cut out squares from coordinating pattern using the pattern on the link. To make the baby bow quilt square, pin the outer pieces to the middle section on both sides. Sew along both sides. This will form a square.
- You will need to trim off excess fabric where the fabric overlaps to make a nice, even square.
- Continue this process with additional fabric and making additional squares. Sew the squares together and then the rows together to make a quilt top. Finish quilt as usual by machine quilting or yarn tying, with batting, a backing, and binding around the edges.
