I have a Frigidaire dishwasher, model FFBD2407LB0B. We have been running it for several years with no issues. Now, when the cycle begins, the electrical breaker trips off. After resetting and starting again, it trips again.
I pulled the washer out from under the counter top and all the wires look good.
Thanks.

Normally when a breaker trips like this the circuit is overloaded.
Electrician came and replaced the circuit breaker. The exact same thing continues to happen. The dishwasher is the only appliance on this circuit. It comes on, runs for a minute and then throws the breaker again. The electrician said if it still happens it is not the breaker. So now what?
Dish washer blowing circuit breaker.
Step 1
Sometimes when an appliance is plugged into a GFCI outlet it can cause the circuit breaker to trip or blow.
Step 2
Plugging it into a regular outlet would solve this problem.
Step 3
Inspect your power cord it could have a short in it.
Step 4
Have an electrician inspect all the wires.
Step 5
Is the dish washer close to the breaker box and if the dishwasher is leaking this can cause it to trip off.
