I have 2 males and 1 female zebra finches. She's laid 3 eggs so far. How do I find out for certain who the dad is as to not separate the wrong male?

In your case, I don't think this one would really be necessary. If you really want to breed your birds it is best to leave them alone now that the females have started to lay eggs. A lot of time both males will help by sitting on the eggs. Nature has a funny way of handling things and it always seems to work out for the best.
Thank you I have left them alone apart from when I need to clean but I dont think they will hatch as she only laying on them when she and dad goes to bed mum and dad the rest of the day they wont even go in there she laid 4 eggs that was two days ago is that normal google said the eggs shouldnt be left for more then 30 mins this is there first time so understand they may not understand but is that normal google says after 20 days remove the eggs any advice is very much appreciated
Thank you posher I just found the email to get here been a while I rehomed the male that wasn't bonded with Ruby and it took two clutches but the 2nd clutch have hatched there doing very well took ur advice left them to it they have 4 babies still keeping fingers crossed they all successfully fledge the nest to know how mum and dad did my neice is looking forward to get them all the best
