Drain pork and beans and add mustard and pickle relish. Spoon mixture over 6 slices of bread, placed on a cookie sheet. Place a slice of cheese on each sandwich. Dice, very fine, 3 slices bacon, sprinkle over cheese slices. Put under the broiler until cheese melts.

I love bacon and cheese, and they are great together in this recipe.
Preheat broiler. Combine first 8 ingredients in bowl; mix well. Cut bread into halves lengthwise. Spread each half with margarine. Spread ground chuck mixture over margarine layer.
Grind together the Spam, onion, American cheese, and green pepper. Sprinkle sugar over the top and also ketchup.
For each sandwich, toast a slice of bread on one side. Spread untoasted side with mayonnaise, and then place on a slice of tomato, slice of cheese, and top with two strips of bacon which have been partially fried.
I am looking for a recipe from the 1950s or 60s. They were called "Gooey Buns" and contained cubes of ham, hard boiled eggs, cheese (Velveeta?) and some other ingredients? Then the mixture was placed in hot dog buns, wrapped in foil and baked in the oven until melted and gooey.
