A mixture of cherry and grape tomatoes from our garden about to go in the oven. Drizzle with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar, sprinkle with kosher salt and pepper and broil for a few minutes in the oven or put on the grill in aluminum foil.
Delicious tossed with pasta. You can also add some red onion or garlic, I've done it both ways. I love summer tomatoes!

Lightly oil the grill and preheat to medium heat. Slice off the top of each tomato and use a spoon to hollow out the seeds and watery juices. Sprinkle the inside with pepper and rub olive oil on to the outside of the tomatoes, coating well.
Quick and easy. Especially good this time of year with homegrown garden tomatoes and fresh basil.
Preheat broiler. Remove stem ends from tomatoes. Slice tomatoes thick, about three slices per tomato. Top each slice with one tablespoon blue cheese and one tablespoon wheat germ.
