I have a Brother CS6000I sewing machine. It has a squealing noise. Sometimes it seems to stitch in same place. Thoughts on if there is anything I can do to fix that?
Thank you.

You might have a jam of thread and/or fabric in the feed dogs. Remove the needle plate and check.
My Kenmore would always do this when it got too much lint in the bobbin case--which sometimes was hard to see--other times, big yuck! This article says the Brother's can get the same issue:

When I clean mine, I use an old brush from a shaver and sweep out so as not to push the lint in further. Hubby wanted me to try canned air, but I was afraid that would just make it worse pushing the lint back in, plus I was afraid of sending the dust everywhere and starting a sneezing jag for me.
Hopefully this will be an easy fix for you.
If not, maybe the Brother helpline can help, since they are the true experts in their products:
It may be that your machine needs a good cleaning.
