My Brother, model GX 6500 electric typewriter powers on. When the machine is turned on it starts beeping, the car is locked, and no key works, but the whistle continues.

Unplug the typewriter. Move the cover out of the way. Check the carriage to see that there are no foreign objects. Move the carriage back and forth with your hand only. If you cant do this, the machine requires servicing
I had already done that, and there is nothing disturbing, dirt and or anything, just she still able, with her hands making the car walk back and forth, but the keys do not work and the noise continues
There are some troubleshooting guides for Brother machines on the web. You sound like you are handy so maybe one of these can guide you.
The first one...if you scroll down... talks about what to do if a buzzing doesn't stop.

I don't know where you are, but some towns still have typewriter repair shops (as people still love their machines). Maybe you could talk to one and see if they will give you some info to decide if it is worth (and cost) to repair if you can't figure it out thru the two links). Good luck!
