Total Time: 20 minutes

Supplies:

• 1 cup or bowls
• dish soap
• acrylic paint
• water
• straw
• cardstock paper

Steps:

1. Add a few drops of dish soap and a few drops of acrylic paint into a cup.

 
2. Mix with your straw. Add a few tablespoons of water, then mix again.

 
3. Use the straw to blow enough bubbles to come out of the cup a bit.

 
4. Gently place your paper over the bubbles.

5. The bubbles will pop and leave a colourful imprint on the paper.

 
6. Try different colours of paint in different sized containers.

 
7. Repeat to pop on the same paper.

 

 
8. To make darker, more saturated imprints, blow more bubbles then lay them onto the paper to sit a bit.

9. Continue with more colours. These make excellent book covers.
