Burnt Chili Remedy?

I was reheating a large pot of chili and got distracted by the kids. Now the chili tastes slightly burnt! Is there any way I can get rid of the burnt taste? Thanks!

Scoop the top half of the chili into another pot. Definitely don't stir it as you want to leave as much burned material behind as possible. Then you can add in extra tomatoes or beans to dilute the burned taste. I have managed to salvage more than one pot of chili this way.

If the burned flavor is very strong, you could also try adding cinnamon to counteract it. Vinegar is also said to be good for disguising a burned taste.

Good luck!

I added peanut butter, vinegar and tomatoes. It seemed to work. Not my usual chili but not bad.
