No, no, no!!!. Do NOT get sucked into building up debt, with credit cards, especially at such a young age. What do you really need that you would have to charge it? If you can pay your bill in full each month then you don't need a charge card. That is the ONLY way to use a credit card.

You must not be on a fixed income.No lecturing please. Why would anybody get a card if they pay it off every month (except for reservations).Why not just wait until payday and buy it then.

Some people look for instant gratification and some people have legitimate needs. Stop judging people. You don't know their character or their circumstances.
