Buying Borax in Australia?

In class we made green and blue slime and I was wondering if I can make more slime because we made a lot and people kept dropping or stealing my slime. I found out about how to make it, but am wondering where can we get borax in Australia.

The chemical name of borax is sodium tetraborate decahydrate. It is sold here in the U.S.A. in the laundry detergent aisle. It is also used for swimming pools, you could try a pool chemical company.

Borax is commonly used as a laundry additive. There may very well be borax sold in the laundry section of your supermarkets. Here in Canada it is sold under the brand name "Twenty Mule Team Borax", and comes from the Death Valley in the USA.

I went to their website and read about the history. It has other uses in glassmaking and in glazes for pottery. It used to be, and may still, be mined in Tibet and in Italy.
