I've read the good advice on how to clean an electric oven. Seems like one cannot buy ammonia on the internet, unless one is a school, or a business. I remember my mother, in the old days, she always had ammonia at the house. Do you have any advice on how I can get ammonia for household use?

Walmart, Target, Supermarkets etc.
It's in the cleaning products at any grocery, big box, or drug store!
It is rather difficult now. Supermarket stores generally do not have it; I checked this morning. My paint store does not have it either. Neither the hardware store. Janitorial supply stores should have it but there are none in my neigborhood.
I just saw it at Walmart in the cleaning dept today.
Walmart and Food Lion both sell Amonia for cleaning. Walmart carries clear Amonia as well as sudsy Amonia. But be sure to read the label on the sudsy Amonia first as it will be very sudsy and you do t want to use too much or you will be rinsing it off for quite awhile! Also Walmart has had lemon scented Amonia too.
Have people gotten so used to shopping online that they've forgotten how to shop in stores? Ammonia and other cleaning supplies, detergents, and soaps are easily found in supermarkets, grocery stores, hardware stores, and "big box" retailers such as Target, Kmart, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.
Walmart sells it
You can buy from United or even Walmart
Just came across this post today and was curious as to where everyone was buying their cleaning products.
I bout lemon scented ammonia today at our local Dollar Tree - no need to look further as I am sure you will not find it for less than 1.00.
I buy mine at the supermarket. They have clear and sudsy
