I would like to purchase a 24" heavy-duty two-way zipper for my husband's winter jacket. The original zipper is a Talon; however, I cannot buy any zipper like this locally. I received a Talon catalog, but there were no two-way zippers listed. Any suggestions you may have will be greatly appreciated.
I have often gone to a thrift store to look for zippers. They take the zippers out of jackets, etc. that are worn out and then sell the zippers for a small price. OR you could just buy a coat that has the size zipper you need and tear it out yourself. You can often get different buttons for crafts there as well.
Here's a site that I think has what you need. They have all kinds of sewing supplies and a great variety of zippers.
