Our 1997 wheelchair van has bitten the dust, and we need a replacement used van. We know that there are places that allow grants to help cover the price. However, we need to acquire a replacement soon. We need transportation to our doctor's appointments as well as running errands.
My husband has been diagnosed with a very painful disease. We know that there are access buses. The problem we have regarding this, is that more than one person may need to travel to other stops, etc. He can only be out for a short time. In the past we had family members use these buses, but sometimes it would take more than an hour to get back home. He cannot wait for all the stops and starts. It is too painful.
