I took an old recipe for Weight Watchers Diet Basic Fat Burning Soup and tweaked it a little. My husband and I have been eating it once a day for the past two weeks and have not tired of it yet. It is a great soup for a side, even if you are not trying to lose weight.

We are still eating this soup at least once a day and have not gotten tired of it. I have made it several times.
It took a while but while eating this soup every day, I lost 5 pounds and kept it off. Christmas messed me up with just a few days eating lots of sweets. This morning, I weighed and I have gained my 5 pounds back.
It took me a week of eating no sweets to lose that 5 pounds I gained during Christmas. Whee!! I love this Cabbage Soup!!
I learned this trick from our daughter. When I make cabbage soup, I put the bulb end of the green onions in water and grow my own. They are ready to cut in about 6 days.
I did not know if Cabbage Soup would freeze well so I tried it. It does freeze well and tastes just like it is freshly cooked.
