These grow wild along the hiking trails outside San Diego on Black Mountain!
The blue one is blue eyed grass and the white flowers remind me of phlox. I am more certain of the blue flowers than the white ones. Hope that helps.
These lovely purple/blue flowers are called Sisyrinchium- Blue Eyed Grass . The Pale Yellow - Sisyrinchium Striatum- Yellow eyed grass or Satin Flower! These 2 beauties are in the same family!

I have seen some beautiful rock roses, but this orchid rock rose put me under its spell! The amazing colors and silky petals tremble in the mountain breezes. I hope they last a few more weeks!
I was just walking in sunny CA along the old Santa Fe tracks, new home of the LA Metro, in the city of Arcadia and saw this bright young thing standing tall casting its shadow.
These are photos from the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve in Southern California. We went there last Saturday and it was so beautiful. I couldn't stop taking pictures.
