I don't have any roach problems, but with Google - I was able to find that you'll need equal parts of cornstarch and plaster of Paris and it'll get rid of your roach problems.

There is also a thread on ThriftyFun. Some said Boric Acid works. You can read peoples feedback here: www.thriftyfun.com/
I used they spray and got rid of a lot. They were in my stove and my microwave too.
After that I cleaned everything in the kitchen with bleach and rinsed the next day. I did not see any for 6 days.
If mixed with Plaster or Paris, yes (also found in my search). I use boric acid that I get from the 99c store. I'd deep clean the entire area then sprinkle some down. If you start with the a dirtyish base, they will return.
If you mix it with Plaster of Paris it will.
You can use cornstarch to kill those pesky roaches that invade your home. To create a cornstarch mixture that will kill roaches simply mix equal parts of cornstarch and plaster of Paris together.

Sprinkle the mixture into cracks and crevices. The cockroaches will then eat the cornstarch and plaster of Paris mixture and will then die.
