Caramel Apple Crisps

Total Time: 30 minutes

Yield: 12 crisps

Ingredients:

• oil for light greasing
• 2 crisp apples, peeled and chopped
• 1/2 small lemon
• pinch of salt
• 12 gyoza or wonton wrappers
• 1/3 cup caramel chips

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 375 F and lightly grease a mini muffin tin.

 
2. In a pot over medium heat, add chopped apples, juice of lemon, dash of salt, and 1 tablespoon of water. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 8 minutes until they are softened.

 
3. Add a tiny dab of oil to each wrapper, then press into mini muffin tin. The sides will fold and overlap naturally.

4. Add a few caramel chips into each cup.

 
5. Spoon cooked apples into the cups evenly.

 
6. Top with more caramel chips.

 
7. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until wrappers are golden brown. Allow to cool off for a few minutes before enjoying.

I put these same ones out to photograph, and I kid you not, they were gone in less than 5 minutes between 3 people. I had one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good thing they're easy to make!
