Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,246 Posts I love this pen and pencil organizer. It's so cute, and it's simply made from the cardboard centers of toilet paper, held together by glue. I spray painted the outside to give it an eye-catching shine.
Total Time: 1 hour
Supplies:
- 6 cardboard tubes
- spray paint
- craft glue
Steps:
- Take your cardboard tubes to a well-ventilated area to paint. A large cardboard box lined with a plastic bag underneath works great.
- Spray the cardboard tubes. Turn to coat all sides evenly.
- Stand them up and allow them to dry for at least 45 minutes.
- Apply glue in a straight line across one of the tubes.
- Press a tube right next to it onto the line of glue.
- Place another line of glue on the other side of the tube. Add another tube here.
- Place 2 tubes on top of the first row, then the last tube on top. Inspect them to see where to add glue to keep them secure.
- Now add the glue on the areas where the tubes would be touching.
- Glue them on so you have a pyramid. Allow to dry for at least 10 minutes.
- Fill with pens and pencils.

I save most of my cardboard to turn into things-- otherwise goes to the recyclers :) Thank you!
