This cardinal sits in the forsythia bush every day as though he's posing for me. Sometimes he brings the Mrs., but she is very shy and stays in the background.

One of the things I miss about the US are seeing cardinals in the garden in winter. Over here in the UK the robin is the winter bird and is featured on Christmas cards and as a holiday decoration. Lovely little bird but I really miss cardinals!
