I got 7 pillbug/rolly pollies. I gave them a small slice of watermelon and 1/2 of a grape along with fish flakes and 2 leaf bits. Is that overfeeding, even though there are 7? How do you transport them somewhere else without hurting them? And they're not active at night. Are they dying? Is it because the lights are on? How can you tell a male from a female (girl from boy)?

I find mine get scared if they notice my shadow. So if you are approaching to watch them come up quietly and try to use low lights that don't make a shadow. Of course they don't like bright lights. You can try holding something over enclosure that you can see around but will block their view of you. At first they will sense your arrival and hide. But sit quiet a few minutes and they should go about normal activity. I sit and watch mine day and night. And I'm an adult! It's like having a little rainforest in a flowerpot! I keep mine in a big pot with high sides they can't climb out. With live plants, moss, fish tank decorations, shells. I keep a pile of oatmeal on a rock that I make sure I never get wet. I sometimes give fishfood & other stuff. But they eat the eggs of the micro-organisms in my soil and of the houseplant flies. They have had many babies. Good luck
