My dog started throwing up and having diarrhea on 10-26-18. I took him to the vet the next morning. He got meds and fluids. He hasn't thrown up since, has eaten food a couple times, and drinks water or Pedialyte on his own. Today he started being more active. He was playing with his toys, wagging his tail, etc. These are all good signs right? or should I not get my hopes up just yet?

When dealing with parvo (and I know this from knowing a survivor pup very well) that there are 3 factors that contribute to success...early intervention, following the vet advise to the letter AND getting the pup back in if there is even a minute change and 3rd, keeping positive and loving on the pup and encourage the pup profusely!
The power of positive/prayer/love are not to be underestimated.
I will add your sweet fur baby to my prayers also!! Let me know how it all goes!! Here's to a QUICK and FULL recovery!!
These are all good signs. I would look for steady improvement, even if it is slow. If your dog takes a turn for the worse, notify the vet immediately.
