My 6 month puppy has parvo and I don't have the money to take him to the vet. I don't know how to treat for him at home, does anyone have any tips that they can give me on how to care for him?

It is very difficult to treat a puppy with parvo at home with no help from a veterinarian. Even if you have the medicine they need they vomit a lot and cant benefit from it. They get an injection at the Vet. Many Vets will give your dog the shot they need and let you take them home and care for them. This way is less expensive and gives the puppy a chance. You may get lucky and your puppy may have a light case and pull through. But your odds are not good and I would find a way to see a Vet. asap.
This is a serious illness and can be fatal. Take him to the ASPCA or Humane Society and see if they can help you out.
He needs antibiotics if you have any in the house give them too him.
If he is not drinking dump little amounts down his throat off and on every hour.
Force feed him rice and hamburg just 2 tsp at a time every 2 hours.
He definitely will need antibiotics if you do not have some ask friends.
If you haven't been to a vet are you sure the dog has Parvo? Is the dog throwing up and has the run. If this is the case he has to get a shot and you can't take care of him any other way. If this is left untreated the poor dog will die. I would at least find a way to take him in for a shot and then take him home and follow what the vet told you to do.
If it works for your dog, Take some elecrolyte powder and glucose powder and prepare a cup of light mixture in boiled water. Serve cold with syringe every hour 40-50 ml /as per age. Buy some antibiotic syrup and anti vomiting syrup for kids and serve 10-20 ml 2-3 times day as per age....
