For 2 days my cat has been drinking the water from the Christmas pine tree and has been vomiting the last 2 days. Is there anything I should do or buy over the counter? He is eating and drinking, but vomiting 2 times a day.

Please cover the tree water container with aluminum foil immediately so your cat drinks no more of it. Then call your vet. Christmas tree water may contain natural and man-made toxins.
This is not good for the cat to drink the water that a pine tree is sitting in. If you have any animals at this time of the year the tree base should be covered so the animal can not get to the water in the base of the tree.
Yes thanks .. will do
Yes I have taken to cat clinic he is fine just the time I was trying to get the tree finished with putting up and decorating usually have the tree covered on the bottom so the cat doesnt get into it ... I try makes sure its safe sometimes you cant always be safe 24/7 but I got card board around and spot and I just not gonna worry about water tree its pretty much filled with water its gonna e hard to get in with the cats lol next year bungee cords and something else cuss they love to climb the tree half my decorations on the floor well I use plastic hooks and plastic balls no glass no metal tree hooks my other 2 small so luv the tree its their first Christmas they see Christmas balls and knock them out...nothing on the tree can hurts them I do my best to cat proof when your tirrd with no help with frozen shoulder and you sit and cry I been doing that for past week ..
Sending up extra prayers for your health! So glad the kitty is fine! So happy to hear! Thanks for posting back with an update. Wishing you a blessed holiday season!
Cover the wafer with nylon net. Also consult your vet for other suggestions
Please get the cat to the vet as soon as possible. Sadly Christmas tree water can have chemicals from the tree (fertilizers, pesticides and sap in it which can be very dangerous to pets. That cat may need IV or other treatment to resolve this. I am concerned that this is something that cannot be treated with a home remedy or over the counter product.
Meanwhile, make sure the water is not accessible to the cat any more. Wrap it in something to prevent access or better yet, keep the kit OUT of the room.
Please post back with an update. Prayers for a good outcome!
