Last year when I first adopted my cat in February, she had already had a habit of peeing on things and being stressed by my dogs just made it worse. When I finally moved out in August of 2018 it stopped all together. She was happy and loved that there were no little dogs to terrorize her. It's been over a year with no more accidents; up until last week, she hasn't peed on anything at all.
My boyfriend started leaving his dirty work clothes near her litter box (about 2-3 feet away) and every time, she has peed on them. Absolutely soaked them. She peed on his drawstring bag this morning too. I don't know where this is coming from, but I advised my boyfriend to pick his things up and to put his bag on the other side of the bed. Any other tips?

She is marking her territory. She may be jealous of your boyfriend. Tell him to clean up his clothing. Wash with an enzyme cleaner to remove the scent, or she will mark the spot again
Create a special place just for her! She is letting you in her own way. Think about the changes in her life, and the last time of her accident. Animals let us know in there way.Good luck!

Double check with the vet that there is no urinary tract infection going on. Changes in pee habits are often a health issue. Once she gets a clean bill of health, ask the vet if there is anything that can be given because she has had "anxious" peeing.
Having the clothes away from the box will help. Where was his bag? Maybe just keeping his things out of her zone will do the trick.
Prayers for an easy solution. Post back with an update!!
I think you cat is not comfortable with your boyfriend, or his clothing has scents that make her want to mark them. Maybe he could feed her and make an effort to make friends. Playing with her would help, some treats etc. By all means make sure her litterbox is in a calm secure place where she is comfortable.
