My 10 year old cat seems to be in pretty good health. For a while she was eating heaps and losing weight, after I wormed her, her eating returned to normal. About 3.5 years ago I had a baby. I noticed she peed on some towels I had on the laundry floor sorted to be washed. I put this down to behavioural issues. From then on it seemed to be only occasionally that she would pee on things on the floor.

I would have the vet check her. Then change her litter to a different brand and giver her a new litter box. That may help.
The birth of the baby could have triggered this. Now your cat is old and may have age-related incontinence issues. I would call your vet.
