This shot makes me think of a tight rope walker at the circus. We always think they're either so brave or so silly, up there on that rope, but at least they have safety nets below them! This little critter just amazed me! Here he is, crawling along a thorny blackberry branch above what would, to him, be a massive drop off, with no saftey nets, no wires, no tricks. He's just trying to make it from point A to point B.
I wonder, do those thorns hurt him the same way they sting me when I'm not careful? I'd love to be as brave as this caterpillar!

I found this lovely fuzzy caterpillar crawling up my front door one morning. I wonder what kind of a butterfly he will make someday. Love the colors!
These caterpillars are an unusual color, teal blue, and so are the bright pink and green leaves in the background. Very vibrant and colorful!
