I have two cats, ages 12 and 7, and they stopped eating the dry cat food that I've fed them for years. I've been trying different brands (all top quality). I've even tried mixing canned food with the dry; they didn't like that either. They aren't sick, so I don't know why they've gotten so picky. I could use some input before I go broke buying more cat foods.
Thank you.

Given their ages, they may have dental problems that cause them discomfort when chewing hard, dry food. Consider switching to a softer food, and see a vet.
Try adding warm water or milk to the dry food. I have an old cat abt:16yrs. she will eat dry food that is moistened with milk or water.
Hello,
At their age, they might need a dental. I have worked for a Veterinarian for over 27 years and cats usually have a dental twice in their lifetime. Please have their teeth checked, I have 3 cats and a Welsh Corgi.
