Could be many reasons-mange, mites, allergy, and many other itchy possibilities. Unless you know exactly what the problem is, you do not know how to cure the problem and any "home made/cheap" type treatment will not help. Your kitties need to go to their vet immediately for a correct diagnosis and treatment. They need their vet's help now.
