One of my little dogs died he was about 3 months old. He didn't come to eat for a day and that evening we found him at a place they usually hide and rest.
We called his name, but he only showed his head. He was so friendly and docile. We put food beside him, but he didn't even get up to eat. The next morning we found his body. Is this a sign of rabies? My little brother used to play with them.

My condolences on the loss of your pet. He could have been ill,or had an diagnosed physical ailment. Your vet could give you more information than anyone here.
You have my deepest condolences on the loss of your pup. So sad. It does not sound like rabies as you don't describe confusion or the foaming at the mouth, although only a vet can rule that out.
Sadly like humans, animals often pass without a clear reason. If you had an established relationship for the pup with a vet, I encourage you to talk to the vet and get his/her feedback on what may have happened.
If you have challenges with grief, I encourage you to seek grief counseling. Losing a fur kid is hard so take care of yourself!!
Hi,
There are many things that can cause a puppy to die at a young age. The puppy could have had a viral infection or a bacterial infection, his blood sugar could have gone too low or he could have had something wrong, health-wise since birth.
Either way, I am sorry that your puppy passed. It is very unlikely he had rabies at all. I send you my condolences.
Have a blessed day,
--- Robyn

I dn't think it was rabies - it could have been a congenital heart condition since he was so young

It is been long since we found a snake like this in our yard
