Causes of Blood in a Puppy's Stool?

I just came from the vet and he gave me an antibiotic for my puppy. My puppy is 8 months old and she was pooping worms with blood yesterday and that is the reason why we brought her to the vet. She has never been dewormed or vaccinated. Now, is the 2nd day of taking antibiotics, my puppy's stool has a blood in it. The stool isn't watery yet, somehow it is soft. What should I do next?

Could it be parvo or is it just because of worms? I wanna ask opinions from others who might have had dogs in the same situation as mine and survived. Thanks. Hope you can help me and my baby. She is energetic and playful. She still have an appetite and there is no need for force feeding.

You said that you have never vaccinated your dog and it is 8 months old now. Plus you just said that you took the dog to the vet because it was pooping worms and some blood. When you were at the vet's why didn't you get the dog vaccinated? This is very important and you should go back there and start the series of vaccinations for your dog.

Parvo is very real and it hits so fast it isn't even funny. Normally worm medicine will cause what you are seeing now but if it continues today you should go back to the vet.

Having worms most likely is the cause, so you should definitely consult your veterinarian and put on deworming treatment.

It could be as simple as a scratch or something else. Please contact your vet.

You need to call the Vet you met with. This situation is confusing and you need to know what you need to do for your puppy. Call your Vet back and try to get a clearer understanding of what is happening with your puppy.

Your Vet should talk with you on the phone for no charge. At the very least your puppy should get started with his vaccinations.
