I had three Pugs and suddenly each day my dogs would get lethargic, struggling to breathe, and eventually pass on. At this moment all my pugs have passed on. What could've caused this?

This is a question for your vet. If they were all in the same litter, it could have been genetic.
Oh my. You and your family have my deepest condolences on the lose of your pups. So sad.
You may want to talk to your vet Asap.
Sadly like people pups die suddenly. That you experienced such a tragic lss of more than one pup, you may want to take foods and medications to have the vet review and see if he/she can have them tested. Anything that all would have had in common. also ask about parvo. They can do necropsy on the pup's also.
Prayers!
That's just what happened to our dogs, from their grandma to now, it's a miracle for them to survive one to 2 pups everytime, it's really Genetic.
This is sad for everyone.
You do not say how old your Pugs were or even if they came from the same parents but it appears that it could be genetic because if it was any type of poison or a virus, I believe they would have died under different ways/symptoms.
Your vet may be able to help you with an answer but I think you should contact the owners of the parents to see if they have had other occasions of this happening.
I believe you should tell them they should have their dogs tested as they could be carriers of a disease and it not affect them. They should not be selling or giving away puppies if the parents are carriers. In fact, their dogs should not be able to mate and thus carry on this disease. You may not be able to "make" them do anything, but you should express what this has done to your family.
I do know that some animal shelters/humane societies will check this out if it is reported.
This is really important as this type of disease should not be allowed to keep spreading.
