I just recently replaced four bedroom receptacles and all are working. However, when I tried to turn on the ceiling fan which is done from the pull string not from a wall switch it would not come on. What are some troubleshooting options?

If it was working before then one or more of the wires that controlled the fan have been wired differently. I usually take a picture of how it was wired before I start working on anything. That way I can return it to the way it was before.
Ours stopped working so we took the chain element apart and cleaned it. There were SO MANY DUST BUNNIES and a bit of oil trapped inside-- works fine after the cleaning. Yours could be that or it could be an electrical element not matching up. I'd start with checking around the chain like we did.
