Actually your age being the same as the year you're born is called your Platinum birthday. So look online for platinum bday ideals.

You definitely have that wrong. Might want to look up what a golden year birthday means.
I believe you are mistaken. Everyone I know celebrates their golden birthday when they turn the same age as their birthdate, not birth year. I celebrated my Golden birthday when I turned 27 on December 27th.
Why do you think it's his golden birthday? The way I remember it's when the person turns the age of the day they were born... for example, turning 12 on the 12th of Oct.
Maybe born in 1957!
I'm celebrating my Golden Birthday again because I'm turning "58" and I was born 1958 !!! DUH!!
