Here is a link with how-to pictures. The text says "Your Swiffer will generally require 4 AA batteries. To remove the battery panel, click the notch inside the area that holds the cleaning supply." Good luck! www.wikihow.life/Assemble-a-Swiffer-WetJet

You have to remove the swifter cleaner, and the battery panel is behind there. Remove the panel and change the batteries.

The batteries are in the top of a swiffer in a compartment 4 aa it takes.It is behind the water tank.

The water tank is removed from the handle of the Swiffer. You will see a panel that can be opened. Buy 4 AA batteries and change them out. This is easy to do and should not be hard.
