If you want a cheap cat bed, use a banana box with a cushion. When they get chewed and tatty, just get another one. They are big enough even for a large Ragdoll cat and her kittens.

I have 4 inside/outside cats, in the winter I make up boxs or baskets of hay for them in my shed if it is not to cold out, if it is below 40 they go in the garage and I turn on the heater and they watch TV, they love it. Here are three of them.
