We're super done with French fries, potato wedges, and twisters. Today I'm making something different that's still made of potatoes. My kids eat them as long as it's fried like fries or wedges. Now I'm trying this recipe to see if they would still love it. It was a success.
Ingredients:
- 3 large potatoes cut into cubes and boiled
- 30 g cheese bar, cut into cubes
- 1 large egg beaten
- 4 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 cup Japanese bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
- oil for deep frying
Steps:
- Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper into the potatoes and mash.
- Take a small portion and flatten into your palm. Place a cube of cheese in the center.
- Roll the potato to form a ball, sealing the cheese inside.
- Roll this into flour.
- Dip into the beaten egg.
- Then coat with bread crumbs.
- Deep fry until golden brown.
- Serve with your favorite sauce.
