When I could have bread, I used to baste my morning eggs. But now, I have shredded cheese on my over-hard eggs.
So each morning, I would get cheese on my hands and have to wash them again. At first I wanted some dollar store tongs, but the shorter ones aren't available, and the longer ones wouldn't fit in the cheese box.
Today I got an idea that if I had a little scoop in there, it would keep my hands cleaner. Then I realized I had some little measuring cups in odd sizes, so I am using the 1/4 cup and it works just perfect.
I also find that dollar store handi wipes work really good for keeping condensation from making the cheese soggy or worse, go moldy.
So this is a great tip if you don't like to dip your hands into food you often use, but don't want to!
