Not too long ago there was a recipe, slow cooker I think, for chicken and sweet potatoes. I can't find it again! Does anyone have it?

I also did a search on the thrifty fun website and couldn't find the recipe that you mentioned, however, when I did a search on google.com I found a few crockpot chicken and sweet potato recipes. Good luck and I hope you find what you're looking for.
