How and when did you get your pet?
Two baby squirrels (Chip and Dale) fell from a tree late last fall and my husband and I bottle-fed them and kept them inside over the winter. We just released them back out this week.
They've been outside for over a week now. I was really nervous at first because they both disappeared for a couple days in the beginning. But they are now both back and come hang out with us when we are outside. It's the weirdest cutest thing!
What does your pet like to do for fun?
Eat nuts!

They still think I'm their mom. We now have the cutest rodent problem ever!

I have had the pleasure of watching these little squirrels grow since last fall. Lori is the best squirrel mom and they both love her so much. It is the cutest thing!
Best pets ever!
When I was young we had a squirrel that way also. It is debatable whether they can survive once released as they were not taught how to care for themselves had they been raised in the wild.
