Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 1 1/4 cup mashed bananas (this was about 3 bananas)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a regular-sized bread or loaf pan.
- Beat sugar, eggs and oil in a large bowl on medium speed with electric mixer. Mix until combined.
- Add in banana and vanilla on low speed.
- Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.
- Add to banana mixture, mixing on low speed, just until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Spoon batter into prepared pan.
- Bake 60-70 minutes, until toothpick inserted in middle of bread comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack.
- Enjoy!

I used to make this using a small 1 lb coffee can. Buttered & sugared the inside of the can & the bread would slide right out. Problem now is I dont think those 1lb cans are available anymore. It is very good bread. I also spread cream cheese frosting on the slices!
