Mix cake ingredients together by hand and bake in 9x13 inch greased pan at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes. To make frosting: boil sugar, milk and margarine for 1 minute and take off heat. Add chocolate chips and vanilla. Beat and spread on cooled cake.

Combine dry cake mix, eggs, and cherry pie filling in a bowl. Mix well by hand. Spread mixture into a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan.
