Preheat oven to 200 degrees C (400 degrees F). Grease a 12 hole mini muffin pan (if you don't have one, use paper patty inside muffin holes).
Whisk together butter, castor sugar, banana, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
Place flour, coconut and chocolate in a large bowl, then fold in the banana mixture.
Place dessert spoonfuls of mixture into muffin pans and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly in the pan then turn out onto a rack to cool.
Serve dusted with icing sugar.
