Gold Post Medal for All Time! 555 Posts Dark chocolate is extremely healthy but not as appetizing as a sweeter or milk chocolate. So I've been melting mine and rolling kumquats, berries or even apple slices in it then freezing them for treats that satisfy my cravings while being healthy too. Easy and fast!
Ingredients:
- dark chocolate (at least 70% or more)
- kumquats
- options: your favorite berries, orange apple slices
Steps:
- Simply melt a few squares of your dark chocolate in your microwave. I do it at 30 second intervals. Your microwave may vary but mine is melted by 3 30 second heating- 90 second total.
- Roll your clean and DRY fruit into the melted chocolate ( I stuck them with toothpicks to make rolling neater) and place on a plate in the freezer for at least a half hour to reharden the chocolate.
- That's it! Enjoy!
