I just bought a sofa. It has kind of a light tan in it and some off-white. My husband has a bluish green chair, a Smith Brothers' rocker recliner. I have a rug with light tan with red and green from Livings Treasures. My other rug has more red in it so I put it in the sun room with a goldish sofa. I just don't know what rug would be the best. I am fussy.

I would go with a darker tan in the same color family as your sofa.
I agree with Judy that a darker tan would be a good choice. If you want a more colorful rug, you might want to check out the extensive choices of Arts & Craft rugs that have beautiful earth-tone colors in them.
