Hairspray residue and strands of hair goop up my brushes and hair brush blowers. An old used toothbrush really takes out the residue and hair really well.

I REMOVE HAIR FROM THE BRUSH AND THEN PUT THE BRUSH IN THE UTENSIL HOLDER IN MY DISHWASHER AND WASH WITH A LOAD OF DISHES. ALSO, I BUY SEVERAL BRUSHES AT DOLLARTREE (EVERYTHNG COSTS A DOLLAR) SO THAT I ALWAYS HAVE A CLEAN BRUSH AND DON'T HAVE TO WASH THEM OFTEN.
