Cleaning Black Rubber Marks off Hardwood Floor

They removed an old refrigerator in my house and it left a black steak on the hardwood floors. How do I remove it?

Use a Rubber Soul From a Tennis Shoe 01/15/2006
Before you buy any products, try using the rubber sole of a black tennis shoe on the scuff mark in a back and forth motion like an eraser. This works on vinyl flooring, tile flooring, and painted surfaces (like baseboards) as well. I'm a realtor and I use this method to remove heel scuffs from foot traffic. Use white for white scuffs and black for black scuffs. Hope this helps.
