One way I have found to remove the baked-on grease on my stove burners is to use Scrubbing bubbles. You can normally find this in all stores and basically, it is used in the bathroom.

My second choice is to use powdered dishwashing detergent to clean the baked-on grease on my stovetop. Other things that I have found to work really well are Windex, white vinegar mixed with dish soap, oil believe it or not, and even ammonia if you can stand the smell and have a very open kitchen otherwise I would not use this one at all.

The first move is to remove the burners from the stove as water and electricity do not mix.
Find a good comfortable place to work as this will take some manual cleaning also. You may want to work on a counter top later so have some newspaper handy or a couple of old towels as this makes a mess.

Place an old towel in your sink so the burners will not make scratches. Make a paste of baking soda and and apply it to the burners covering them completely. Wait about 15 minutes and apply white or apple cider vinegar over the baking soda and let it fizz for about 5-10 minutes. Use a scrubbie and run it all over element surfaces to remove any particles still hanging on. Of course, you may have to do all of this for a second time but I've always had good luck with this method. Rinse, dry and replace them on a nice clean stove (clean stove while waiting on solution to clean your elements)

Some people use soapy steel wool pads but I do not like these as the steel seems to stick in my fingers.

There are numerous ways to clean your stove parts but always remember to remove the elements from stove before using anything liquid.

The best way and and almost natural way to clean this is with - Dish Soap(Dawn works the best) , Baking Soda, water, and a dish rag. For more of a build up , use a scrub brush. This is done by making a paste and then applied . www.thekitchn.com/whats-the-best-way-to-clean-my-stove...

I personally use hydrogen peroxide and baking soda with a last rinse using boiling hot water. It seems to work fine.

My husband likes to use Scrubbing Bubbles as mentioned above and that works as well!

Check with your oven instructions. Mine are made to lift off and go in the oven when we run it on self cleaning!

Hope that is an easy solution for you!

If that isn't possible, dip in water, pour salt over them, then baking soda, then enough vinegar until they sizzle (to this in the sink).

Let it sit for 15-20 minutes rinse and repeat if necessary.

Last solution. I lived in an apt once and the landlord suggested I take the elements off, put them in a black plastic bag, spray them down with Easy Off, let them sit per the can, then wash off.
