My husband boiled over a brown sugar vinegar mop sauce on my black glass top stove. How do I get it off? I tried the baking soda with vinegar paste which helped, but several stubborn stains are left. Help!

get it hot while boiling a pot of water. turn it off and with gloves spoon boiling water onto it while rubbing it with a damp towel.
Sugar, even burnt sugar comes off fairly easy after it has soaked a bit. A magic eraser might be worth a try too and would not scuff the range top.
Just be careful because a magic erase is a microfine sandpaper. make sure you stop "sanding" when you get through the food stuff
I reheated it with boiling water in a pan. It cooled then finally came off with circular motion scrubbing with hard plastic sponge. Finally! Took several attempts after the baking soda and vinegar but a few hours later it has hardened enough to dry up and come off after hearing.
Use an old credit card and scrape it off.
