I want to start my own cleaning business that specializes in move out and move ins and new construction cleaning and I came up with a name, The Whole Shabang Detail Cleaning Services. My friend says it's too much of a slang term and won't appeal to the older folks of the community. Is this a good name?

Speaking as someone who probably fits into the older folks group :), the term the whole shebang is old school enough that they will probably just love it. Good idea.
Using slang is usually a bit chancy, given the risk of not being understand by one group or another (people for whom English is a second language being one example). Dig out a Thesaurus? Every Detail Cleaning is only one example of the many options available to you.
I was thinking that but that slang phras has been around for so long that most everyone even people that speak other languages have hard this term....anyone who has been in the starts goff any amount of time but I wanna call it THE WHOLE SHEBANG detail cleaning services
How about The Maid Brigade?
Not sure I like that one....because my main focus is not just resadental cleans but move outs and new construction cleans is where I wanna focus....there is not a lot of ppl doing thoes in this area!!!
I just wanted to chime in and tell you that I have used the phrase "the whole shebang" a couple of times in normal conversation since reading your question on ThriftyFun. I'm 45 and it sure stuck in my head. :)
Another name, my friend came up with was Atta Girl detail cleaning services, so I told him that I will post it on here and take a vote on both names....winner takes it!!! so please help me out and tell me what name you like and in a couple days I will count it up and the most name liked I will use for my company name...
